How Do I Stop Worrying, So Much?

Problems and situations in our lives bring out worries and doubts.  This becomes anxiety.  It’s natural to worry about daily events in our lives, such as bills, job interviews, weddings or many other situations.  

"Normal” worry becomes excessive when it does not stop.  It is persistent and if you worry each day about life events; you are unable to get rid of the anxious thoughts and this can turn into significant daily stress.  

Significant daily stress can deplete our emotional strength and leave us feeling discontent and restless.  It can impede our sleep, cause headaches, muscle aches, impede our attention and focus.    

Some people take there stressful emotions out on family or friends.  They may use alcohol or drugs to calm down.  

If you suffer from excessive worry and stress there are some breathing techniques that can help turn off anxious thoughts. Excessive worry is a habit in your mind.  It can be interrupted and you can teach your brain to be relaxed and at ease.
